The validity of the tourist voucher will be extended until 30 September 2022. Previous legislation said that the voucher could only be used until March 2022, but according to the announcement, it will be extended until the end of the holidays, i.e. 30 September 2022. Offer your guests to use the voucher also for later trips, such as Christmas or New Year's Eve in 2022. How can you do this? Here's how!
The tourism voucher will be extended until the end of September 2022. Such an assurance was given by the Deputy Minister of Development Andrzej Gut-Mostowy. Property managers can offer their guests to use the voucher also for later bookings, for example for Christmas or New Year's Eve in 2022. All they have to do is book their stay and pay for it with the voucher by September 30. The booking must be paid for by the voucher's expiry date, but the trip can be for later dates.
A travel voucher is an electronic document that entitles parents to pay for the booking of accommodation, up to an amount of PLN 500 per child. You can therefore use the voucher if you have at least one child under the age of 18. Children with a disability certificate are entitled to up to PLN 1,000 per child. You are entitled to a travel voucher regardless of your income.
You may use a voucher anywhere in Poland to pay for accommodation services, i.e. a stay in a hotel, guesthouse, campsite or agro-tourism farm. You can also use the voucher to pay for a package tour (this means a combination of two or more different types of travel services for the same trip or holiday. Therefore, you can also use the voucher to finance e.g. a child's stay at a "green school" on holiday).
All you need to do is to apply through profile registered on the Platform of Electronic Services (PUE) ZUS. Once registered, you will be given a profile manager role that will authorise you to nominate one or more receptionists to handle the voucher payment.
The programme is open to both owners of hotels, guest houses, holiday cottages and flat managers who run a legal business which is entered in the register and which consists in the provision of hotel services. An entity owning several hotels/apartments registers only once. Entrepreneurs registered in the programme are visible on list of entities accepting vouchers. Please note that this is the data of entrepreneurs, not accommodation facilities.
The voucher is to be presented at the time of booking or, at the latest, at the time of accommodation. After registration in the programme, you will receive a 16-digit voucher number which you can use to pay for services or a tourist event. The code is assigned upon activation of the voucher.
To enter the payment, the host must enter the code provided by the tourist into a special application. The guest will then receive an SMS with another verification code, which they also give to the receptionist to authorise payment. The code is valid for a few minutes. The funds are transferred up to 14 days after the voucher is redeemed.
If the balance is lower than the amount of the transaction, the tourist will receive an SMS informing him of the balance. Payment can be made again, for the correct amount. Voucher can be used for several payments. Payment can be made remotely.
